Artist's Comments

There are three photos I took from a door while there was a party lust summer. Its just the time changing the people standing outhere or dancing inside.... made without a tripod, just with a table standing nearby my seat....

Camera: Casio QV 3500 EX
The photos are not manipulated!!! I just put the pctures together with Photoshop!

Comments are much appreciated.

I put this pic in the portrait gallery, although it is no portrait, but there are so many categories but no people gallery, just portraits...

Parties and Get-Togethers are the easiest and most interesting places to view people's behavior. People walk around, they stand around, you get a visitor who comes over now and then to your little space and then they leave.

Nice composition...
and you caught the poses just right....

This is so near perfect, there's something I just love about it! At first I thought all the doors were on one wall, which I guess is what gives the image such a surreal feel. The colours work so well, with the yellow frame and the blue lights inside the room, with the slightly yellowed clothing of the people outside. It's almost as though they're from another world and don't belong in the room, or they're too scared to go in there and are just observing from in the doorway. Oh, and I've just noticed another thing I love about the photo. The wear and damage at the bottom of the doorframe - it looks like something that might be in Tyler Durden's squatted house in Fight Club! Ohhh, I love that door frame and the blurred, unknown shapes inside! I'm so glad I found you on DeviantART, this is going to have to be one of my favourites!

This is very cool. I wanna do one of these triptychs (or whatever their called) some time. One question though, is that the same guy in both the left and right panels?

Anyway, the way you've set this up looks very good. It just seems like there's three doors right next to each other that leads into the same room.

As for constructive criticism I don't really know what to say. The whole piece seems fine to me, although framing it probably wouldn't hurt. I always frame my own photos, it gives them a much more "complete" feel.

Good job! Thumbs Up

Very cool indeed, the colours of the wall is in such a warm, soft, comfortable colour, but yet the blackness of the room and the blue just give the whole thing contrast. good job :) (Smile)
